StrangeLove is the skateboard brand from Sean Cliver. While Cliver and StrangeLove are mostly known in certain circles for coveted Nike SB Dunk releases, skate-rats and older-generation skaters are mostly familiar with Cliver's original work. Many of the Birdhouse and Hook-Ups Skateboards graphics go back to the founder of StrangeLove Skateboards. Even better known is Cliver's design for the Powell Peralta Barbee Ragdoll deck from 1990.
With such a history and years of experience in the skateboard scene, it's clear that StrangeLove is all about quality design. There's loads of heart and soul as well as a lot of detail in StrangeLove deck graphics.
Of course, the designs are just begging you to collect them and hang them on your wall. But Cliver himself says StrangeLove decks are meant for skating. Therefore, when you shop for your new StrangeLove board, you'll get high-quality goods that will guide you through many sessions. In addition to decks, you'll also get an assortment of StrangeLove t-shirts skatedeluxe skate shop.
As with many independent skate brands, StrangeLove is a very small company. Accordingly, the relationships behind the scenes are family-like. Instead of a well-known team, the close-knit StrangeLove crew is the figurehead for the brand. Currently, besides Sean Cliver, Timothy Johnson, and Hank Scorsese, Ty Brown and Ben Narloch are the face of StrangeLove.
