I've always been a fan of axles from Royal and have been riding them for ages. For me, low are perfect.

I like to ride loose but don't like strong turns. My favorite steering behavior was therefore Venture. But the Venture lows are only available up to 8.0 (and have terrible kingpin clearance) and the Venture Hi with their high wheelbase and 53.5mm height lead to a steep pop angle (depending on the deck, of course). This is where the Royals come into play. They are 52mm high and have a wheelbase similar to Indys (marginally lower) with a steering behavior similar to Venture. My pop in the first session went through the roof. Due to the stability, everything is clean and I have much more confidence at higher speeds than with easy steering trucks with loose bushings. My deck has a 14.375 wheelbase and 6.625" Tail/Nose. Btw: The pivot cup is mega, the bushings are okay. Due to the geometry, the axle is quite fast in wheelbite and I would not recommend wheels larger than 52mm. Hope this helps someone.
