Thunder 149 T II Truck (polished) 8.5"

I bought these trucks because my Indys didn’t feel right anymore. After skating them for a bit, I realized I really didn’t like them. They feel way too loose for me. I tightened them, but they were still too loose. I then changed the bushings, but that didn’t help either. They still feel too loose for my liking.

After 30 years of skateboarding—10 on Tensor trucks and 20 on Thunder trucks—I’ve finally found the perfect trucks for my evolving, more versatile style that blends street, park, and carving. Lightweight but not too light for board control, and super flexible for carving. That little bit of extra height on the Thunders makes all the difference in pop—the feel is incredible. For me, they’re perfect for street, park, and bowls—they handle it all!!! Great balance for a modern, versatile setup on an 8.5. I pair them with 52 wheels to keep some wiggle room—I ride with a very loose setup, which lets me compensate a bit for the extra height while maintaining leverage. I’m not about to switch anytime soon.

After years of using Indys and Tensor Trucks, I finally decided to give Thunders a try. Sturdy axle, rides well. Of course, I don't have anything to compare the T2 axles to the regular ones, but I'd guess the difference is minimal.
