I got the 97A in 56mm, they grip just the right amount something like 99A STF, which I'm used to. The quirks of the wheel really work, you really get more of a grindable axle and the axle nut sits protected inside of the wheel. Slappies are also much easier with these, but that could also be attributed to their big size. WOULD recommend and WILL buy again.
Man, these wheels are awesome! On my previous setup, I had the Nano Rats 54mm in 97A, but for my new setup with low trucks, I wanted something a little smaller. And since the streets here are so rough, I also wanted something a little softer. These wheels are offset just enough that you can mount them on 8.25-inch trucks under an 8.4–8.5-inch deck, and the side profile is absolutely perfect for Primo / Railstand. The axle is well-protected. I was worried that 93A would be too soft for sliding, but I don’t know how they do it—that Dragon Formula really makes the perfect hybrid wheel: responsive yet smooth on rough surfaces. Highly recommended!
These are great 93-hardness wheels that perform like 97s for slides; they handle the imperfections of skateparks with average asphalt pretty well. I recommend pairing them with Redz Six Balls or Super Redz bearings because these bearings are very durable and can handle almost anything—as long as you use spacers and speed rings to protect the bearings over the long term. And since they don’t cost much extra, it’s a huge bonus for very little money.
