It’s very responsive. Sharp turns require more control and attention, but that’s the main advantage of the Tugboat series. I really like it. It rides quite smoothly, and the 63-millimeter Hawks wheels are perfect for most road surfaces (I even tried riding off-road- it was fun!). After 2 months of active riding (3-4 times a week), there was no wheel-bite. At first, you might notice that the wheels momentum doesn’t last long, but that’s normal: the more you ride, the faster the bearings will break in and hold momentum longer. The wide deck adds comfort while riding, and the kicktail lets you do ollies and other tricks when needed. So far, this is the best cruiser I’ve ridden. I highly recommend it!
