I've had the protectors for a few years now, they've served me really well and are really comfortable to wear, but you have to make compromises with the protectors when skating. I would say if you mainly skate miniramps or in skate halls with wooden floors, they are absolutely suitable, if you wear pants over them, on concrete etc. outside, well, not so suitable. The disadvantage is that you can't slide logically on concrete with these pads and you'll tear your pants. The protection is there, but you should keep that in mind. I also wore them in the park, of course.

The wearing comfort is pleasant, anyone who has long leg hair and has tried other protectors of this type knows that manufacturers in the past liked to use a silicone strip as an anti-slip measure. These can sometimes pull. Here, on the other hand, there are comfortable nubs at the lower opening. The surface is much larger than expected, but in a positive sense. A part of the shin is also protected. They are not noticeable under most normal (not mega skinny) pants.

the knee pads are super comfortable to wear - even if you have them on a little longer. in addition, they hardly wear on. So does not stand out at all under snowboard pants.
