Anuell Barret Parka Jacket (black)

I absolutely love wearing the jacket. It fits well and keeps you very warm in the cold weather. Highly recommended!

This jacket is a nice, simple jacket for colder days. So far it has kept us warm at 5°, but we will soon be testing it at even lower temperatures. It is very comfortable to wear and the lining is neither too thick nor too thin. It is slightly shorter for a parka and is slightly larger overall. In my opinion, you don't necessarily have to order a size smaller if you want something oversized or need an in-between size. At 190 cm and with relatively broad shoulders, it fits me very well in XXL, even with a sweater and without pinching under the arms.

I'm not a fan of faux fur collars on hoods and thick teddy fur inside, so when I bought this Annuel parka in the store I found it perfect for the cold season. With a height of 1.95 cm and broad shoulders, the slim-fit jacket in 2XL pinches massively under the forearms and is unfortunately also far too short for a normal parka. The store specifically states in the product information that the jacket is larger and should be ordered one size smaller. I should have done it the other way round and bought a size 3XL instead of 2XL. However, as the 3XL versions usually no longer pinch under the shoulders but hang on the body like a tent, I won't be reordering and will have to look elsewhere. That's a shame, because otherwise the jacket is very well made, lightweight and all the logos are pleasantly discreet.
