Sweatshirts and sweaters - the all-rounders in skateboarding
Sweatshirts and sweaters are perfect for any skate session. Easy to combine, they keep you warm during the session and afterwards. Whether over a t-shirt or under a jacket, when you pack a sweater, you're well equipped for the cold days.
It's the mix that counts - the sweatshirt materials
Sweaters for skating vary in the composition of materials. While some are made of pure cotton, others rely on a mix of synthetic fabrics and cotton. Spandex ensures that your sweatshirt remains flexible while skating and offers you freedom of movement.
You want it really warm? Then we recommend sweatshirts with an inner lining made of soft fleece, which provides additional warmth.
Different fits for different tastes
Similar to the material, you also have a wide choice of fits for the sweaters. In addition to the classic "regular fit" you can buy sweaters in "slim fit" and "oversize fit" in the skatedeluxe skate shop. A slim fit sweatshirt fits the body and emphasizes it, while an oversize fit sweater is particularly loose and offers a lot of freedom of movement.
You can find info about the fits of the sweatshirts in skatedeluxe skate shop in the respective product descriptions.
From crewneck to half-zip sweater: collar and neckline
When it comes to necklines, the variety ranges from the typical crewneck to sweatshirts with high collars and mocknecks. Sweaters with stand-up collars usually have a half-length zipper on the front and are often called quarter-zip sweater or half-zip sweatshirt, depending on how long the zipper is.
The information about the materials used or special features, such as hidden pockets, can be found in the product descriptions on the item detail pages.
Sweater with Prints & Stitchings - Express your Style
Most skate brands almost always have one print on offer: their own logo. From the large logo on the chest, like on the Thrasher Skate Mag Sweatshirt, to the discreet front print accompanied by the eye-catching back print - sweatshirt styles are diverse. Whether embroidered or printed, a sweatshirt with a chest logo is the best way to showcase your loyalty to the skate brand of your choice.
If you don't like big logo prints, fancy colorways and flashy details, you can also find simple and plain basic sweatshirts with discreet logo details in the skatedeluxe skate shop.
Care instructions: How to enjoy your sweatshirt longer
With these simple tricks you will enjoy your new favorite sweatshirt longer:
- Wash your skate sweater at 30 degrees. This is enough to get rid of most dirt. At higher temperatures, the sweater may shrink. The environment will thank you.
- Turn the sweater inside out before washing. This will protect the print. Also hang it to dry inside out or in a shady place. Direct sunlight will fade the colors of the fabric and the print.
- Don't throw white sweatshirts in the machine with intense colors like red, blue or black.
