From Lyrics to a Cult Label: Shake Junt!

Hardly any other brand has caused as much turmoil by their name alone as Shake Junt has. "So what does Shake Junt even mean?" Is it a slang term for stuff, or simply the fantasy of founder Shane Heyl? In fact, Heyl found the term from the song by Rapper Lil Gin simply so catchy that he absolutely wanted to skate to it in a video. He probably never imagined how such a giant success could come from such a simple idea. And so it was! Shake Junt became an absolute cult brand whose legendary status is still recognised today- and with good reason!

A small video turned out to be a fat edit with solid footage of some of the greats like Andrew Reynolds and Dustin Dollin. It made the underground number an absolute hit and their hand-sprayed Griptape the most coveted stuff in the scene. As the Baker Boys Distro began to manifest, the sworn members of the Shake Junt posse evolved into the hardware brand with the green & yellow glowing logo! Since then, Shake Junt has been providing the scene with ball bearings, griptape with the iconic spray logo, as well as bolt packs in colourful hues. All of which, every now and then, get released as a pro version!
