I doubted hi tops like cons or nikes... but vans really did good with these now hi tops. The insoles are far better than any other brand also!

Maybe go a half size up. These cause blisters on the knuckle of my big toe and small toe. They look cool but are very uncomfortable. I recommend to get something else.

I rode Vans last time maybe 10-15 years ago and started disliking them after trying Janoski's back then because they felt flimsy. I have to say – as with the Janoski's, which have improved too recently – I was surprised with the quality of these Vans. The Pop Cush insole is amazing (I even like it better than the insoles of Janoski's), the lip straps keep the shoe lip in line, the suede is tough (tougher than canvas Janoski's for sure). Hitops are definitely a saviour if you like practicing shuvs, caspers and other flatground tricks and often take boards to the ankle like me. As for the color and design; they are just as you see them on the picture. Also good to mention: they are true to size, so if you wear 10.5 US Nikes, you can also have these in 10.5.
