Ace 55 AF1 Hollow Truck (polished) 8.5"

I have already got a set of the regular AF1 55s and a set of regular AF1 66s. Initially I thought those trucks were far too loose with the standard bushings the trucks come with and even after I switched to Aces own Hard replacement bushings I was struggling a little bit. But lately I've been riding the 55s with Aces Hard bushings and I have been loving them. They do feel a little on the heavy side but they also bring in the axle and wheel base a little more than an Independent truck which has so far really been my favourite all round truck. So now that the Hollows have released I had to spring for them. 18 grams lighter per truck than my regular 55s might not be a lot but every little helps. As far as AF1s go these trucks turn like a dream and for me at 96 kilos the Hard bushings offer enough stability without really sacrificing much of that turn. I actually feel that the Hard bushings give these trucks quite a lot of stability when your weight mostly in the center and that it actually takes a fair bit of misplaced weight before they start to turn too much. All things considered I actually think I have changed to liking Aces more than Indies and these Hollows with their reduced weight allow them to compete weight wise with standard Indie Hollows. Note that per Aces own measurements these trucks are 2.1" in height which translates to them being roughly 53.35mm tall which puts them almost side by side with Indie Forged trucks that are 53.5mm.

I always switch between independent and ace but I feel like i prefer ace trucks. These trucks grind perfectly in my opinion and have the best carve out of any truck I have tried

And that's that. These are so well made and turn so well. I don't think I will ever go with another truck brand.
