At the age of 13, Shane O'Neill became a team rider for the Nike SB team. With April Skateboards, O'Neill fulfilled his dream and founded his own brand. After a total of 15 years with Nike SB, numerous contests and outstanding video parts, another dream has come true for O'Neill: his first signature shoe from Nike SB.
The Nike SB Shane: the extra bit
The 'Shane' convinces with classic elements and a clean, minimalist and stylish design. In addition to a subtle, embroidered Swoosh on the outside, O'Neill's signature logos can be found on the tongue and heel of the shoe.
A balanced mix of materials made of nubuck, canvas and suede contributes to the functionality of the Nike SB Shane. The similarity to the Nike SB Janoski is obvious. O'Neill makes no secret of the fact that he likes to skate the classic by Stefan Janoski, as the Collab-Janoski from 2017 proves.
