Since prohibition, moonshining has been a far-reaching tradition in the North American backcountry. However, the shift from high percentage to high quality only took place in 2010. Originating from an active factory for slingboards, kiteboards and wakeboards in North Bonneville, Washington, the idea was to produce progressive longboards for the high-end market. In the spirit of moonshine tradition, in 2014, they made the switch to handcraftsmanship and thus: The Distillery was born.
