Their factory is located half an hour's drive from San Sebastiàn, in the village of Irúu, where the Iraola family was already involved in wood working for a few centuries. The location in Spain also has advantages for the environment. According to the Basque industrial law, all waste materials have to be recycled at Jart Skateboards. The wood used in the company also comes exclusively from forests with sustainable management. For Jart, "Save our planet" is not only a label but an important ideal.
