The story behind Isle Skateboards and their products

The initial spark for the brand came with the demise of Blueprint skateboards. Both Jensen and Shier had skated for Blueprint for a long time and decided it was time to create a company based on their own ideas. A lot of care is devoted to producing the well thought-out graphics with a lot of attention to detail. Nick Jensen, in particular, gives the designs and the company a special touch with his artistic background. In the video, you can see all the ideas and processes that go into designing a deck at Isle Skateboards.

The Isle Skateboards Team & Acclaim for “Vase”

In addition to sophisticated designs, the Isle team is another matter they really take to heart. With names like Tom Knox and Sylvain Tognelli show that, in addition to a certain skill set, you also need a whole lot of style to sign to Isle Skateboards. Here, the company sticks to its roots and relies mostly on British riders. Accordingly, the riders - preferably with filmmaker, Jacob Harris – can be found skateing around London and the surrounding areas. The rough spots create a really unique atmosphere in their videos.

You can marvel at the entire team, among other things in the 2015 team video, "Vase". The hard work they put into this video came to fruition at the 2016 Bright European Skateboard Awards.
