Today skateboarding is more diverse and creative. Shaped skateboard decks are becoming more popular and can be used in many ways.

Popsicle skateboard decks look a bit like a popsicle stick when you look at them from above, hence the name. These boards are almost symmetrical. The nose and tail are equally round.

Shaped skateboard decks are shaped differently than the "classic skateboard of today". Square tail, pointed nose, extra wide wheelbase – the shapes are creative and versatile.

Good to know: even if the name may suggest it, Full Shape or "Shovel Nose" decks are not shaped decks. These are popsicle boards with a particularly wide nose and/or tail.

Who have shaped skateboard decks good for?

Skateboard decks with special shapes are suitable for everyone who simply wants to try something new. The joy of experimentation and creative skating are basic requirements here. If you are just starting to skate and want to learn your first tricks, we recommend a popsicle deck for the beginning.

Depending on what you want to do with your shaped deck, different hard goods are more suitable for it. For a pool board, for example, we recommend wide decks and matching trucks with wide wheels for stability and control. By the way: Shaped decks are also ideal for a cruiser or filmer setup. Simply combine them with soft wheels and you're ready to go!
