What are Shovel Nose decks good for?

Due to the wide nose, these boards offer a lot of surfaces to stand on. This can be an advantage, such as e.g. Noseslides. For some flips like Kickflips or Heelflips, Shovel Nose decks can bring an extra portion of flick to the table. However, you also need a little more power, because your foot is longer in contact with the board or griptape.
