Welcome Skateboards started with a capital of just 2000 dollars and the idea to bring really different decks to the market. Founder Jason Celaya was far from satisfied with the selection at that time. He saw himself surrounded by boring graphics on the regular skateboard deck shapes. So he distributed Welcome boards designed according to his ideas to his friends and the colorful decks soon appeared in skate parks around the world.
