Sweet becomes Sour - the story of Sour Solution
SOUR SOLUTION was originally created as a response to changes at Sweet Skateboards. A large part of the current SOUR team was previously riding for Sweet for years. However, after the entry of investors and personnel changes at Sweet, the team decided to start their own thing together with team manager Björn Holmenäs. So the name was created in distinction to Sweet.
With the departure of Sweet and the founding of SOUR SOLUTION Skateboards, the team also created new perspectives. Founded as a small Swedish board company, SOUR SOLUTIONS, now based in sunny Barcelona, has become one of the most interesting brands in Europe. Finally, the team riders can co-determine the direction of the company and so, for example, Gustav Tønnesen cuts and films the SOUR SOLUTION videos himself.
