HUF Worldwide - the story behind the three letters
First and foremost, the abbreviation HUF stands for the founder of the brand: Keith Hufnagel (RIP). The legendary pro skater founded HUF in 2002 in San Francisco, California. Conceived as a skate store, HUF initially sold shoes, streetwear & accessories of renowned brands in the Bay Area. At this point, HUF designs its own skatewear collections and lifestyle products.
In the beginning, the label made a name for itself with its infamous HUF Plantlife socks. A good 15 years later, HUF is one of the hottest brands in skateboarding and skillfully manages the balancing act between functional and stylish skatewear. HUF is now sold worldwide, prompting it to call itself HUF Worldwide ever since.
HUF Clothing: Skatewear that has a certain something
HUF can do much more than just make socks with a weed logo. While cult classics helped HUF achieve a certain degree of popularity, the brand doesn't rest on its laurels. HUF streetwear is characterized by first-class workmanship and attention to detail.
HUF SET - Hoodies and t-shirts
Discreetly situated logos, tie-dye shirts or all-over prints: HUF t-shirts really offer something for everyone. Whether it's a t-shirt that gives off a 90s feel with a small front logo, classic, striped T-shirts or even more unusual designs with large front and back prints - HUF Apparel has it all!
Hoodies from HUF Clothing usually come in a regular fit cut and discreetly set designs encounter more eye-catching, colorful motifs. Their soft lining and medium thickness make HUF hoodies a good choice for colder days.
HUF jackets and accessories
HUF offers a good selection of windbreakers and transition jackets. HUF jackets, like the Standard Shell, are reliable companions for every session. When it comes to outerwear, HUF keeps it stylish and confident. With HUF Coach Jackets, HUF Rain Jackets and HUF Vests, you'll be well-equipped for the right weather.
Whether it's the famous Plantlife socks, classic beanies with the HUF Worldwide logo or caps with minimalist designs - in the skatedeluxe skate shop you'll also find a wide range of HUF accessories.
HUF is known for its regular collaborations with artists, skate mags, other brands and pop culture phenomena, so every new collection from HUF is exciting and always provides a surprise or two.
The HUF Skate Team
HUF's high standards are not only reflected in its skatewear and accessories but also in the skill level of HUF's current Skate Team. Well-known representatives such as Brad Cromer, Mason Silva, Nick Matthews, Tyler Bledsoe, Cyrus Bennett, Sam Narvaez, Dick Rizzo and Solomon Cardenas are on the road for the brand. The spirit of the brand is maintained by Dylan Rieder and Keith Hufnagel. Both died much too early and are regarded as legends in the skateboard world.
