DC Kalynx

The Kalynx from DC Shoes combines the cup sole of the DC Lynx with the upper of the DC Kalis OG. This fusion has resulted in one of DC's most popular skate shoes. The timeless silhouette is undoubtedly reminiscent of late 90s and early 2000s street skateboarding.

The upper material of the low-cut sneaker from DC is a mix of suede, leather and synthetic material. The shoe is breathable and comfortable thanks to the padded hem and tongue. The sole is a classic cup sole - robust, high-quality workmanship and perfect for everything between steps, curbs and ledges.

The high-wear areas' multi-stitched areas give the Kalynx extra durability, and the Ghillie lacing ensures you always have a secure stance.

The history of the Kalynx

When Josh Kalis designed his pro model for DC Shoes in 1998, DC sent him samples so that he could skate the already-designed parts of the shoe. At that time, the sole of the Kalis OG had not yet been finalized, so the upper of the new Kalis OG was temporarily placed on the sole of the DC Lynx.

This hybrid, which was originally only intended as a temporary solution, resulted in the unmistakable DC Kalynx. This also explains the somewhat cryptic name of the shoe.
