Dakine – the evolutionary stages of their company history!

Dakine has gone through the classic stages of evolution: from the water onto land, over the mountains and into the air. Founded in 1979, the brand comes from Maui, Hawaii, and is originally rooted in the sport of surfing, but today Dakine is fully adaptable and can be found all over the world and on every board. The American brand is very impressive with their luggage designed specifically for extreme sportsmen, and Dakine is particularly well-known for their backpack manufacturing. From its main centre at the foot of Mt. Hood, Oregon, the team of outdoor enthusiasts is constantly developing new technologies and products to meet the needs of snowboarders, skateboarders, surfers, mountain bikers and anyone who likes to be outside. True to the motto: "As fun as it is functional"!
